About Me

 

Hi, my name is Jennifer Martinez. I grew up in a bi-cultural home that is near Roy, Washington which is near Spanaway going the back way to Olympia. For the last 2 years, I have lived in Central America specifically El Salvador to be closer to my father's culture and to grow closer to family based here. While being here I've had the opportunity to watch the ocean change with the seasons and tides. 

The degree that I am working towards and hoping to achieve is a Bachelor of Science that majors in Computer Science with a certificate in Cybersecurity. I have had a slightly difficult time starting my degree and following through with it to this point. Two of the biggest reasons are that I had struggles with my first college since they switched to in-campus which was not an option for me and me moving to another country. My cat was also a helper in this journey of getting my degree.

When it comes to what my hobbies are I have to say that they vary across the board. A few that I bounce between are dying my hair bright colors, baking, Great Dane WWE fighting, guitar rock-n-roll-ist, and cat attention provider.
